Five victims still hospitalized after Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod Region, governor says
According to Vyacheslav Gladkov, a man wounded on March 12 in the village of Shebekino is currently in the most serious condition
MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Five persons who were injured in attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces on Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region in the past two days are still under medical care in local hospitals, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
"As regards the conditions [of the victims] who were wounded in the last two days: five out of eleven people are still in the hospital," he wrote.
According to the governor, a man wounded on March 12 in the village of Shebekino is currently in the most serious condition. He is now in the intensive care unit (ICU) undergoing artificial lung ventilation. As well, Gladkov added, there is widespread concern over the condition of a woman who was injured during an attack on Belgorod’s administration building. "Doctors operated on her for five hours to surgically remove shrapnel; her condition is now deemed moderately severe," Gladkov said.
