MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Air defense systems have downed another Ukrainian drone over Russia’s Belgorod Region, the Defense Ministry said.

"On March 12, at about 9:15 a.m. Moscow time [6:15 a.m. GMT], another attempt of the Kiev regime to launch a terrorist attack on Russian facilities with a fixed-wing drone was foiled. The Russian air defense systems on duty destroyed the Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod Region," the ministry said in a statement.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that the air defenses had downed or destroyed seven Ukrainian drones, eight RM-70 Vampire MLRS rockets, and a Tochka U missile.
