Nearly 290 Ukrainian drones jammed in DPR on weekend
On Monday, 14 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles were jammed while adjusting artillery fire at civilian population in Donetsk’s Kirovsky district
MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. As many as 288 Ukrainian drones were jammed over Donetsk, Makeyevka, and Gorlovka during the past weekend, the defense headquarters of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said.
"According to the Federal Security Service’s Donbass Directorate, a total of 288 Ukrainian drones were spotted and jammed over Donetsk, Makeyevka, and Gorlovka during the weekend. On Monday, fourteen reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles were jammed while adjusting artillery fire at civilian population in Donetsk’s Kirovsky district," the republic's defense headquarters wrote on its Telegram channel.
Ukrainian drones attack facilities in the DPR practically every day. Thus, Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin said earlier in the day that two women were wounded as explosive substances were dropped from a Ukrainian drone.
