BELGOROD, March 6. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems downed a Ukrainian drone near the village of Blizhneye in the borderline Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"A drone was downed near the village of Blizhneye outside Belgorod. <…> According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Emergency services are working at the scene, Gladkov added.
