Russian Foreign Ministry summons German ambassador — source
Earlier, the transcript was released, making it clear that German military officers discussed the ability of Taurus missiles to destroy the Crimean Bridge
MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned German Ambassador to Moscow Alexander Lambsdorff over German military officers’ conversation about potential attacks on the Crimean Bridge, a source told TASS.
"He has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry for today," the source said.
RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan said on March 1 that on the very day German Chancellor Olaf Scholz gave assurances that NATO was not and would not be directly involved in the Ukraine conflict, high-ranking German military officers were discussing how to carry out an attack on the Crimean Bridge in a way that would have no repercussions for Berlin. Simonyan said she had a corroborating audio recording of the conversation in her possession and later released its transcript. The transcript makes it clear that the military officers discussed the ability of Taurus missiles to destroy the Crimean Bridge and the details of preparations for such an attack.
