Russia says its Grad MLRS destroyed cluster of Ukrainian troops in Avdeyevka area
After arriving at the firing position, the servicemen aimed their vehicles at the terrain and struck the cluster of Ukrainian manpower and firepower
MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher systems of the battlegroup Center have destroyed a cluster of Ukrainian troops and military equipment in the Avdeyevka area, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Crews of BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems of the battlegroup Center struck and destroyed a cluster of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment in the Avdeyevka area of the special military operation," the ministry said.
After arriving at the firing position, the servicemen aimed their vehicles at the terrain and, during hours of darkness, struck the cluster of Ukrainian manpower and firepower, as well as a platoon strongpoint. They then left the firing positions, evading a potential retaliatory strike by the enemy.
"We work mainly in the dark time of day so we are not hit by retaliatory attacks. The enemy can't see us at night, but our operators see everything," one serviceman, identified only by his call sign Oka, said in a video released by the Defense Ministry. "All the boys are professionals."
