Putin, Tokayev discuss implementation of joint projects over phone
The leaders exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda
MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed the implementation of joint projects during a telephone conversation, the Kremlin press service reported.
"Continuing the exchange of views held during the meeting in Kazan on February 21, they discussed some topical issues on the bilateral agenda, focusing on the implementation of joint projects in trade and economy, transport and logistics, as well as energy. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the substantive and program-based nature of the Russian president's Address to the Federal Assembly. The sides confirmed their mutual commitment to the comprehensive strengthening of the relations of alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan," the statement said.
The leaders also exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda.
