MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned of responsibility for unauthorized rallies as supporters of Alexey Navalny called on people to come to his makeshift memorials as he is being laid to rest on Friday.
"We don't have any comment [on these calls]. We have a reminder that there is law, and it must be followed. Any unauthorized gatherings will be in violation of the law. Consequently, those who participate in them will be held responsible, again in accordance with the existing law," the spokesman said.
Asked whether the Kremlin could give an assessment of Navalny's activities, Peskov responded: "No, it cannot."
