DPR reports presence of five US-made Abrams tanks near Avdeyevka

DONETSK, February 28. /TASS/. Russian forces have registered the presence of at least five US-made Abrams tanks near Avdeyevka, Igor Kimakovsky, advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), told TASS.
"The reconnaissance of all movements and actions by Ukrainian armed forces near the line of engagement has shown that there are at least five Abrams tanks outside Avdeyevka," he said.
On Tuesday, Kimakovsky told TASS that Russian troops had destroyed a Ukrainian weapons arsenal and ammunition stock near the village of Orlovka near the Avdeyevka sector of the line of engagement.
Later on Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the first Abrams tank had been wiped out in the Avdeyevka direction of the special military operation zone.
