Denmark's decision to end probe into Nord Stream terrorist attack dumbfounding — Kremlin
Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia will continue to monitor the investigations into the sabotage on the Nord Stream and do all it can to obtain data about them
MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. The termination of the investigation into the sabotage on the Nord Stream pipelines is dumbfounding, bordering on the absurd, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"Of course, the situation borders on the absurd. On the one hand, this is deliberate sabotage right in front of us, on the other hand, there is no movement forward. <...> The situation in this case is so glaring that one can only express absolute astonishment," he said, responding to a request to comment on the decision of the Danish police to end the investigation into the explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines.
The Kremlin official stressed that Russia will continue to monitor the investigations into the sabotage on the Nord Stream and do all it can to obtain data about them.
Earlier, Reuters reported that the Danish police had decided to end the investigation into the sabotage on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines due to a lack of evidence.
