Ukraine hinders reconstruction of Artyomovsk with chaotic attacks on city — DPR head
Denis Pushilin noted that specialists will start reconstruction work in Artyomovsk only when it is possible to create safe conditions for them
DONETSK, February 26. /TASS/. Chaotic shelling of Artyomovsk (Ukrainian name - Bakhmut) by the Ukrainian armed forces hinders the start of reconstruction work in the city, Head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said.
"The enemy to this day continues to carry out chaotic attacks on Artyomovsk itself. There is not a single civilian there. In addition, there are [Ukrainian] quadcopters flying constantly, monitoring the situation, hoping that we don't start work there on debris removal and other things. For some reason, it is very painful for the Ukrainian regime to see reconstruction there, to see assessment of the situation, even demining. In fact, they use shells, ammunition, which is not in such abundance in Ukraine at the moment, so that nothing happens in Artyomovsk," Pushilin said during a Rossiya-24 TV broadcast.
The regional head added that specialists will start reconstruction work in Artyomovsk only when it is possible to create safe conditions for them.
