Lavrov conveys warm greetings from Putin to President of Brazil

BRASILIA, February 23. /TASS/. At a meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov conveyed warm greetings from Russian leader Vladimir Putin and his readiness to cooperate on all issues of the bilateral and international agenda.
"Along with warm greetings, he [Putin] asked me to convey that he is ready to interact on any issues of bilateral relations, international and regional politics," Lavrov said.
The minister also noted that Putin once again outlined in detail Russia’s assessment of the current situation in an interview with Tucker Carlson.
"I hope your experts and specialists were able to familiarize themselves with it," the Russian top diplomat added.
Earlier, Lavrov arrived in the capital of Brazil, where he had a planned meeting with President Lula da Silva. Prior to this, the Russian Foreign Minister took part in a meeting of G20 foreign ministers in Rio de Janeiro.
