MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russia and the United Arab Emirates will deepen their dialogue and work out any problems that exist in bilateral cooperation, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
"We have a rather rich dialogue with Abu Dhabi in general and we will develop this dialogue," Peskov said. "We are developing our relations in all spheres, including trade and economic interaction. All current issues are being discussed within the framework of bilateral cooperation mechanisms that are functioning between our two countries," Peskov said.
Two sources in the UAE banking sphere and a spokesperson from a UAE-based consulting firm who works with the Russian business community told TASS that banks in the UAE are toughening the compliance policy with respect to Russian assets, limiting the possibility of cross-border payments and opening accounts.
