MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. Polling stations abroad for voting in Russia's presidential election are almost ready to go, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Gennady Askaldovich has said.
"As of today, the establishment of polling stations has almost been completed, the formation of precinct election commissions is in full swing, 80% of their composition is already known," the diplomat said at a meeting at the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) dedicated to preparations for the Russian presidential election.
Askaldovich noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry’s goal is that the election be held in an efficient, smooth manner and in accordance with current legislation. "This is what we are guided by in our work, it is currently underway," he added.
