Bodies of militants with US, Polish insignia found in Avdeyevka, says DPR official

DONETSK, February 19. /TASS/. Russian troops found the bodies of dead militants with US and Polish insignia during their mop-up operation in Avdeyevka, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Igor Kimakovsky told TASS on Monday.
"The mop-up of Avdeyevka revealed a lot of interesting nuances. In this case, this relates to the bodies abandoned by Ukrainian armed forces with American and Polish sleeve insignia on their uniforms," the DPR official said.
Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported to President of Russia Vladimir Putin on February 17 that the Russian army had taken full control of the city of Avdeyevka near Donetsk. The Defense Ministry stressed that the information on the advance of Russian troops had not been disclosed until a complete defeat of Ukrainian forces in Avdeyevka.
After the seizure of Avdeyevka, Russia’s Battlegroup Center continues its offensive operations for further liberation of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the ministry said.
Avdeyevka is located 13 km north of Donetsk. According to official information, Avdeyevka was home to over 37,000 people as of the early 2000s.
