Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region hit by 17 incoming Ukrainian shell strikes in past day
There were no casualties or damage
MOSCOW, January 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military fired 17 munitions at populated areas of Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, and five drone attacks were carried out, causing no casualties or damage, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
"In the Belgorod Municipal District, two artillery shells were fired at the village of Ustinka, and a fragmentation munition was dropped from a drone. Also in Ustinka, the enemy carried out an attack using a kamikaze drone. A fragmentation munition was dropped from a drone in the village of Zhuravlyovka. There were no casualties or damage in those locations," the official wrote.
In the Borisovka Municipal District, the Ukrainians shelled the outskirts of the village of Bogun-Gorodok twice, using a grenade launcher, on Sunday. And in the Valuiki neighborhood, three mortar rounds were fired on the village of Dolgoye.
In the Volokonovka Municipal District, Ukrainian troops attacked the outskirts of the village of Staroye, using two kamikaze drones. Six mortar rounds were fired at the outskirts of the village of Kozinka in the Graivoron Municipal District. "In the Shebekino Municipal District, the village of Mukhin came under mortar attack, as four rounds were fired, causing no damage," Gladkov concluded.
