MELITOPOL, January 13. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces downed two Ukrainian rockets over Berdyansk, emergency officials in the Zaporozhye Region told reporters, citing preliminary data.

"At 9:00 a.m. local time (6:00 a.m. GMT - TASS), two explosions were heard in Berdyansk. According to preliminary data, the city came under rocket attack by Ukrainian militants. Russian air defense forces shot down two rockets near the port," the officials said in a statement.

No injuries or damage were reported.
