MOSCOW, January 9. /TASS/. An experiment of marking individual kinds of perfumery and cosmetics will be held in Russia from January 15, 2024 to February 28, 2025.

The relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to the document, marking of makeup products, hair care products, toothpastes and other oral care preparations, cosmetics for shaving, deodorants, soap and detergents will be worked out during the experiment.

It is expected that the experiment will enable selecting optimal technologies of applying identification aids on chosen goods and perform a phased transition to compulsory marking of such products.

Compulsory marking of perfumes, eau de toilette and antiseptics is effective in Russia at present.
