KURSK, January 9. /TASS/. The Kursk Region has come under Ukrainian fire over 1,900 times since the start of Russia’s special military operation, regional Governor Roman Starovoit said.
"Two shelling attacks took place in the Kursk Region in the past 24 hours, with 41 attacks recorded in the first eight days of 2024. The Kursk Region has come under Ukrainian fire a total of 1,906 times since the start of the special military operation. As many as 49 phone calls about drones have been received since the beginning of the year, and some 3,500 since the start of the special military operation. According to Starovoit, such calls, along with messages sent through the Radar app, are processed by a crisis center and used in analytical work, particularly aimed at calculating the trajectory of air defense systems.
