MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. Disruptive steps on the part of Tokyo aggravate the worsening of Russian-Japanese relations and pose risks of escalation in Asia-Pacific, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told Japanese Ambassador to Moscow Akira Muto, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"The Russian side pointed to continued disruptive steps by the [Japanese Prime Minister Fumio] Kishida government that exacerbate the worsening of relations and pose major risks of escalating tensions in the Asia-Pacific region," the Russian diplomatic agency said.
According to it, the sides also discussed a number of practical issues on the bilateral agenda.
