MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. More than 600 citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip are staying in temporary shelters in Russia’s regions, Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Crisis Management Center Yury Gorlach said.

"At present, more than 600 people, including about 300 children, are in ten temporary shelters in Russia’s regions," he said.

According to the Russian diplomat, families with children who left the Gaza Strip were provided with maximum assistance - from medical and psychological help to warm clothes. "We received citizens and paid more attention to children," he added.
