MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. Russian forces repelled six Ukrainian attacks near the settlement of Sinkovka in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily bulletin of the special military operation.

Here are the details of this and other combat actions that happened over the past day, according to the bulletin.

Kupyansk area

"Units of the battlegroup West, supported by artillery fire and airstrikes, repelled six attacks by assault teams of Ukraine’s 60th and 115th mechanized brigades as well as the 95th Air Assault Brigade near the settlement of Sinkovka in the Kharkov Region. Enemy losses amounted to roughly 45 troops, two cars, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system and a D-30 howitzer," the ministry said.

Krasny Liman area

Ukrainian loses were up to 190 servicemen, a tank, two armored personnel carriers and one D-30 howitzer.

Units of the battlegroup Center, supported by artillery and heavy flame-throwing systems, repulsed two attacks by the Ukrainian army’s 63rd mechanized brigade and the 12th special operations brigade near the settlement of Chervonnaya Dibrova in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

Donetsk area

"In the Donetsk area, units of the battlegroup South, acting in cooperation with each other and with artillery, repelled two attacks by assault groups from the Ukrainian 24th Mechanized Brigade in the area of the settlement of Novgorodskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic. In addition, the enemy’s manpower and equipment were hit in the areas of the settlements of Vesyoloye, Krasnoye, Kleshcheyevka, Vasyukovka, Bogdanovka and Andreyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

It said Ukraine suffered losses of up to 280 troops, two APCs, three motor vehicles, two Msta-B howitzers, two Akatsiya self-propelled artillery units, two D-30 howitzers and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit.

South Donetsk area

"Russia’s battlegroup East inflicted fire damage on the manpower of the Ukrainian 79th airborne assault brigade near the Novomikhailovka settlement in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The losses of the enemy were up to 90 servicemen and three pickup trucks," the ministry said.

Zaporozhye area

"Units of a Russian battlegroup, supported by artillery fire and aircraft, hit manpower and equipment of [Ukraine’s] 33rd and 65th mechanized brigades and the 82nd Air Assault Brigade near Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.

Ukraine sustained roughly 45 casualties and lost two armored fighting vehicles, two cars and Msta-B and D-30 howitzers.

Kherson area

"Actions of Russian military units and artillery fire caused Ukraine to lose up to 20 servicemen, three motor vehicles, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery unit, a D-20 cannon and four Gvozdika self-propelled artillery units," the ministry said.

Air Force and air defenses

Strikes were delivered on command and observation posts of Ukraine’s 67th mechanized brigade and the 1st brigade of the National Guard.

Russian tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery hit fuel depots, manpower and military equipment in 127 areas.

"Air defenses shot down a Ukrainian Air Force Mi-8 helicopter near the settlement of Vodyanoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said. "Over the past day, they intercepted seven rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, a HARM anti-radar missile and a JDAM smart bomb."

Also, 17 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.

Since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a total of 560 Ukrainian warplanes, 262 helicopters, 10,121 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 surface-to-air missile systems, 14,341 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,189 multiple rocket launchers, 7,527 field artillery guns and mortars and 16,756 special military motor vehicles.
