MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Volunteers of the incumbent President Vladimir Putin’s campaign office together with divisions of All-Russia People's Front and the United Russia party start collecting signatures in support of the Russian leader’s self-nomination at the upcoming presidential election.
Mariana Lysenko, chief physician of Moscow Hospital No. 52 and co-chair of the office said during its opening earlier that the collection of signatures would start on December 23 and it would last until the end of January.
Russia’s presidential election will be held over three days, on March 15-17, 2024. Earlier this month Putin, whose second consecutive and fourth cumulative term of office is expiring, announced that he would run in the presidential election.
