Ukraine shells Russia’s Belgorod Region nearly 80 times over day
In the Krasnoyaruzsky district, the outskirts of the village of Repyakhovka came under fire five times
BELGOROD, December 22. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces fired about 80 different munitions at Russia’s Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
"In the Shebekinsky district, the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka was shelled from a mortar five times. There were no casualties. The windows, roofs, facades, doors and fences of nine private residential buildings were damaged, as well as a gas supply line," he wrote.
The Ukrainian forces fired nine mortar shells at the village of Sereda in the Shebekino district, three mortar shells at the Shebekino automobile checkpoint, and one mortar shell at Maryino.
In the Krasnoyaruzsky district, the outskirts of the village of Repyakhovka came under fire five times. Infrastructure facilities were damaged, as a result of which the villages of Repyakhovka, Kolotilovka, Vyazovoye and Grafovka are partially without electricity. "Work to restore power will be carried out after coordination with the Russian Defense Ministry," the governor said.
The Ukrainian forces fired three artillery shells on the outskirts of the village of Terebreno in the Krasnoyaruzsky district. The village of Vyazovoye also came under fire seven times. Five shells were fired at the village of Prilesiye, as a result of which the administrative building of the agricultural enterprise was damaged: the facade and windows were smashed. Two cars were also damaged.
In the Belgorod district, three artillery shells were fired at the village of Zhuravlevka, and two mortar shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka. In the Volokonovsky district, the Ukrainian forces shelled the outskirts of Stariy from grenade launchers 13 tomes. In the Graivoronsky district, 20 mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the village of Spodariushino, three mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the village of Poroz. "There were no casualties or damage in any of the settlements in the district," Gladkov added.
