Ukrainian military fires 27 rounds of munitions at Russia’s Belgorod Region over past day
Air defenses downed a Ukrainian drone over the village of Blizhneye
BELGOROD, December 21. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military fired 27 rounds of munitions at Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on Telegram.
"Six artillery shells were fired at the village of Zhuravlyovka in the Belgorodsky District, and another three at the village of Shchetinovka. There were no casualties or damage. An explosive device was dropped by a drone on the Nekhoteyevka border checkpoint. Luckily, there were no consequences," he said.
Air defenses downed a Ukrainian drone over the village of Blizhneye. "No one was hurt. The drone’s fragment damaged a car in the Komsomolsky settlement," the regional head said.
Six mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the village of Zarechye-Vtoroye in the Graivoronsky Urban District on December 20. Two mortar shells were fired on the area between the villages of Poroz and Rozhdestvenka.
The enemy used a kamikaze drone to attack the village of Starolesye in the Krasnoyaruzhsky District. A fragmentation munition was dropped on the outskirts of the village. The Ukrainian army fired three mortar shells at the village of Sereda in the Shebekinsky Urban District and another seven at the village of Belyanka. "No casualties or damage were reported in either of the villages," the governor noted.
