MARRAKESH, December 20. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Marrakesh on Wednesday to participate in the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum, a TASS correspondent reported.

Lavrov’s plane landed at Marrakesh Menara Airport.

The forum’s previous session took place in Moscow in April 2019. The schedule of next meetings had to be adjusted due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Russian Foreign Minsitry has described the forum as an "important mechanism of cooperation" between Russia and Arab nations.
