Russia will not let anyone dictate rule running counter to its interests — Medvedev
Leader of Russia’s ruling United Russia party recalled that since the beginning of the special military operation
MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Russia will not let anyone impose any rules that run counter to its traditions and values, leader of Russia’s ruling United Russia party Dmitry Medvedev said.
"We will let no one impose alien ideas on us, dictate rules that run counter to our traditions and values, support xenophobia and extremism, conduct destructive activities sponsored by our enemies," he said at the party’s congress.
He recalled that since the beginning of the special military operation, the party has been helping soldiers and their families. "Hundreds of thousands of people are involved in such activities," he said. "These are volunteers who are fighting on the frontline, demonstrating heroism and courage. Our volunteers who are working in hospitals, helping refugees," he noted.
United Russia members are sparing no effort "to bring closer our common victory," he said. "Thank you very much for that," he added.
