MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation wished success to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the upcoming presidential election in the republic.

"The President of Russia <…> wished him success in the upcoming presidential election in Egypt," according to a statement released by the Kremlin’s press service. Presidential election in the republic will be help on December 10-12.

Four candidates run for presidency in Egypt, including the incumbent president, chairman of the Social Democratic Party Farid Zahran, chairman of the New Wafd Party Abdel-Sanad Yamama and chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the republic’s Senate Hazem Omar.
