Moscow welcomes Baku-Yerevan meeting on border delimitation, Russian diplomat says

Maria Zakharova warned that postponing efforts by the trilateral working group led by deputy prime ministers to unblock Transcaucasian transport links any further would work against regional players, including the interests of Armenia

MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. Russia welcomes the meeting between Azerbaijan and Armenia to discuss the delimitation of the border and is ready to make its contribution to the process, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"We welcome the meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian officials on the common border. At the meeting, the sides coordinated <…> organizational issues as part of arrangements for launching practical work toward the delimitation. On our part, we are ready to make every effort to contribute to the delimitation activity," the Russian diplomat said.
