Russian Guardsmen uncover arms cache in Zaporozhye Region
During the inspection, the Russian Guardsmen seized six man-portable anti-tank missile systems and four rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers
MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. The Russian National Guard’s personnel uncovered an arms cache with anti-tank missile systems, flamethrowers and other munitions in the Zaporozhye Region, the Guard’s press office reported on Wednesday.
"The Russian Guard’s commandos carried out targeted searches jointly with the military counter-intelligence personnel in a community in the Zaporozhye Region and uncovered an arms and ammunition cache. During the inspection, the Russian Guardsmen seized six man-portable anti-tank missile systems and four rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers," the press office said in a statement.
The arms that the Russian Guardsmen also seized from the cache included a Kalashnikov assault rifle, artillery shells, over 40 hand grenades, under-barrel grenade launcher rounds and more than 4,000 cartridges, the press office specified.
