MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is expected to travel to Moscow in December and the exact dates of his visit will be announced in the near future, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov told reporters.
"It’s too early to announce a date. We agreed that Mr. Maduro could visit Moscow in December quite a while ago, and, as for the dates, it looks like we will make a confirmation in the coming days," the Kremlin aide said.
Ushakov said it is entirely possible that Maduro may wish to visit some other Russian cities as well, noting that "it is subject to negotiation."
"December is a difficult month, particularly in terms of various domestic political activities and events [on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s agenda], but, nevertheless, key international meetings have also been penciled in to this month’s [presidential] schedule," the Kremlin aide stated.
