MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian signed an agreement on countering unilateral sanctions during the bilateral talks in Moscow.

The agreement is officially titled the Declaration of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran on ways and means of countering, softening and compensation of negative consequences of unilateral coercion measures.

The negotiations took place on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign ministers of Caspian states: Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan.
