Russia, Turkey having many interesting joint projects — Putin
The Russian leader cited energy cooperation between the two countries as an example of projects already underway
MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin expects many new interesting projects with Turkey.
"We have plenty of other interesting projects, joint initiatives, including in the sphere of trade and the sphere of high technologies," the head of state said during the foreign ambassadors’ credentials presentation ceremony.
Putin cited energy cooperation between the two countries as an example of projects already underway. The interaction in this sphere "is indeed the strategic one by its nature," he noted. "Rosatom continues building the first nuclear power plant Akkuyu in Turkey; close cooperation was established in the gas sphere within the framework of Blue Stream and TurkStream pipelines operation, and efforts are being made to create a gas hub on the territory of Turkey," the Russian leader added.
