Dmitry Peskov confirmed that both leaders continued their communication after the meeting in Minsk
MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko held bilateral talks on Thursday at the end of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
It was reported earlier that Putin and Lukashenko continued their communication after the meeting in Minsk on the way to the airport, where the host of the meeting decided to accompany his high-ranking guest.
"They (Putin and Lukashenko - TASS), in fact, agreed to talk. <...> They decided to use this way to actually hold bilateral talks," the spokesman said. "A full-fledged bilateral conversation took place on the way to the airport," Peskov added.
