"We have no doubt that all the goals of the special military operation will be achieved," Dmitry Peskov added
MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. The Kiev authorities often voice their intentions to try to take the life of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but in practice they will not succeed, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Commenting on the statements of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who threatened to kill Putin, the spokesman said: "If you remember, Putin has been verbally attacked many times from Ukraine on many different levels. We are well aware of that. They won't succeed." "We have no doubt that all the goals of the special military operation will be achieved," he added.
The spokesman was commenting on the Ukrainian president’s interview with the Sun. When answering the reporter’s question about whether Kiev would take the opportunity to kill Putin if given the chance, Zelensky said: "That’s war, and Ukraine has all the rights to defend our land.".
