Russian electronic warfare systems destroy Ukrainian drone over Bryansk
Emergency services are working at the scene, Alexander Bogomaz said
MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Russian electronic warfare systems jammed and destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over Bryansk in western Russia, with no casualties or damage reported, Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.
"An attempt by Ukrainian terrorists to carry out an attack with an unmanned aerial vehicle has been thwarted. Electronic warfare systems of the Russian Defense Ministry have destroyed an aircraft-type drone over the Bryansk district. There are no casualties or destruction," the governor said.
Emergency services are working at the scene, he added.
As Russia’s Defense Ministry reported earlier, at about 6:00 a.m. Moscow time (3:00 a.m. GMT), alert air defense forces intercepted a Ukrainian drone over the Bryansk Region, thwarting Kiev’s attempt to attack facilities on Russian territory.
