Kiev loses 120 troops in attacks near Rabotino in Zaporozhye area
The Russian troops also destroyed three armored combat vehicles and about 15 motor vehicles
MELITOPOL, November 20. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed roughly 120 Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye Region and seized three enemy strongholds over the past day, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, told TASS on Monday.
"If we speak about the Orekhov direction, the Ukrainian military has lost about 120-130 militants, three armored combat vehicles and about 15 motor vehicles over the past day and today. The enemy launched attacks towards Novoprokopovka, Rabotino and Verbovoye, all of them were repelled. After that, our forces counterattacked near Verbovoye and Novofyodorovka and seized three strongholds," Rogov said.
The Ukrainian military has been making unsuccessful attempts to advance since June 4. As Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on October 30, the Kiev regime has lost more than 90,000 troops killed and wounded, about 600 tanks and 1,900 armored vehicles over this period. The Russian defense chief stressed that the Ukrainian military had failed to achieve any significant tactical successes.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 15 that the Ukrainian army’s counteroffensive had completely failed, although Kiev was preparing new offensive operations in some frontline areas.
