Russian-British relations not to change after Cameron made foreign secretary — ambassador
According to Andrey Kelin, there is an impression that the party’s affairs "are not very good if they have to make a bid and invite retirees"
MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Relations between Russia and the UK will remain unchanged after David Cameron was appointed British foreign secretary, Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin said on Rossiya-24 news channel.
"There is a certain course of the government, there are certain rules, and he (David Cameron - TASS) will be following the general line," he said, "Of course, this in full refers to our country, to the Ukraine crisis. His statements have not been friendly since 2014, so I do not expect any changes here, as it will be about the same."
According to Kelin, there is an impression that the party’s affairs "are not very good if they have to make a bid and invite retirees."
On November 13, former British Prime Minister David Cameron was appointed Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Secretary in Rishi Sunak’s government to replace James Cleverly, who was made Home Secretary.
