Denis Pushilin pointed to the absence of logic from the position of some "Western satellites"

MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. The Western countries at the UN Security Council’s meeting, which was urgently convened on November 8 due to the bombardments of Donetsk, were duplicitous and distorted the hard facts, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, has said.

"The issue discussed was a very important one: another war crime by the Ukrainian regime. The Western countries’ stance is notorious: double standards, denial of the hard facts and wholesale support for the Ukrainian regime. The United States and Britain completely distort the reality," Pushilin said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Pushilin pointed to the absence of logic from the position of some "Western satellites." Albania, for instance, speculated that Donetsk was shelled by Russia.

"Far more important to us is the position of those countries which have taken or maybe continue to take a neutral position. To persuade them to stay on the side of common sense, in our case, on the side of justice, is, of course, the main task that Russian diplomats have set to themselves," he emphasized.

On the evening of November 7, Ukrainian forces carried out massive strikes on Donetsk with a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher. The attack killed 6 people, including an ambulance driver, and injured 55 others. The building of the Labor and Social Protection Department was hit.
