GENICHESK, November 10. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian equipment hangar and over 40 enemy troops in the Kherson area over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, a spokesman for the regional emergency services said on Friday.
"Dnepr battlegroup units inflicted damage on the enemy by firepower in the Kherson direction, destroying an armament and military hardware hangar of a Ukrainian army unit and knocking out 11 motor vehicles (the Ukrainian army’s casualties: 10 soldiers were killed and 14 others were wounded), amassed adversary manpower near the settlement of Pridneprovskoye (casualties: 14 enemy personnel were killed), amassed enemy troops near the settlement of Krynki (casualties: 18 Ukrainian soldiers were killed)," the spokesman said.
In the island zone, Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian D-30 howitzer, killing three and wounding four enemy troops. In the Kakhovka direction, Russian forces eliminated a Ukrainian army deployment site, killing 14 and wounding another nine enemy servicemen, he said.
On November 9, the Ukrainian military fired 12 artillery shells against the settlement of Alyoshki, 10 shells against Peschanovka, 11 shells against Dnepryany, 15 shells against Krynki, 6 shells against Novaya Mayachka, 7 shells against Sagy and 8 shells against Kazachyi Lageri, the spokesman said.
Over the past night, Ukrainian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Alyoshki, Golaya Pristan, Kardashinka, Kakhovka, Krynki, Novaya Kakhovka and Radensk, firing a total of 27 artillery rounds, he said.
