Russia ready to create new plants in Kazakhstan for Lada cars assembly — Putin
The Russian leader stressed that he had confirmed this intention during talks with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev
ASTANA, November 9. /TASS/. Russia is ready to creation of additional facilities in Kazakhstan for assembly of Lada cars, President Vladimir Putin said after bilateral talks.
"Our countries are implementing the whole range of major joint projects of industrial cooperation, such as production of vinyl chloride and other chemicals, and mineral fertilizers. Activities are underway for higher degree of localization in Lada cars assembly in Kazakhstan," Putin said. "We are ready to deepen this cooperation, create additional facilities in Kazakhstan, and transfer certain technologies and competences," the Russian leader noted.
Putin stressed that he had confirmed this intention during talks with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Innoprom industrial exhibition took place in Astana in late September, where Russian innovative development and achievements were presented, the head of state said. "We have these achievements. We are proud of them," he added.
