Russia, Kazakhstan to sign joint action plan for next three years, Putin says
The Russian leader added that important documents covering various spheres of bilateral relations have been prepared for signing
ASTANA, November 9. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia and Kazakhstan would sign a joint action plan for the next three years and other agreements after talks with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Following today’s talks, we will sign a joint statement formulating strategic tasks to promote the interaction between Russia and Kazakhstan. We will also approve a joint action plan that will outline the specific directions of [bilateral] cooperation for the next three years," Putin told during talks with a limited circle of delegates. In addition, he said, a slew of important documents covering various spheres of bilateral relations has been prepared for signing.
Russia is among the leading economic partners of Kazakhstan, Putin emphasized as he described the figures in bilateral trade as quite impressive which he said would form a good basis for development in the future.
