MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Russia regularly receives data on dangerous biological experiments that Western countries and primarily the United States conduct in the post-Soviet space, Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said at a meeting with CIS counterparts on Wednesday.
"In the Ukraine context, I want specially to dwell upon the issues of biological protection and biosecurity provision. We regularly receive information on dangerous experiments that Western countries, primarily, the Americans conduct in the post-Soviet space," he said.
This relates to the activity that does not comply with the commitments of the biological weapons non-proliferation, in particular, the development of capabilities and technologies that pose a threat to the existence of humankind, Patrushev stressed.
"Biological attacks are simulated and artificial intelligence is involved in these endeavors," he pointed out.
Russia has repeatedly raised these issues in international formats, including the United Nations Organization. However, Washington has not provided any clear answers, the top security official said.
