Russia to send two imprisoned Iranians back home to serve out sentences

XIAN /CHINA/, November 7. /TASS/. Russia will hand over to Tehran two convicted Iranians so that they can serve out their sentences in their home country, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said during a meeting with Iranian Prosecutor General Mohammad Movahedi Azad.
According to Krasnov, the Prosecutor General's Office in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice has carried out the necessary work in relation to the Iranian citizens serving sentences in Russia.
"The relevant information has been transmitted through diplomatic channels. I should note that the court already made decisions in August and September on two Iranian citizens. They will be transferred to Iran to serve out their sentences. The actual transfer will happen after the relevant conciliation procedures between the competent Iranian authority and the Federal Penitentiary Service," the Prosecutor General said.
