Russian forces destroy Ukrainian ammo depot in Kherson area over past day

GENICHESK, November 7. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian observation post and an ammunition depot in the Kherson area over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, a spokesman for the regional emergency services reported on Tuesday.
"Dnepr battlegroup units inflicted damage on the enemy by firepower in the Kherson direction, destroying two Ukrainian army boats (casualties: 12 Ukrainian soldiers were killed), a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery gun with ammunition near the settlement of Antonovka (casualties: five enemy personnel were killed), an observation post and an ammunition depot near Alekseyevksy Island (casualties: nine Ukrainian soldiers were killed and three others were wounded)," the spokesman said.
Russian forces also destroyed a Ukrainian fire position in the island zone, killing six and wounding another three soldiers, an enemy temporary deployment site in the Kakhovka direction, eliminating 13 and wounding seven other enemy personnel and damaging three vehicles, he said.
On November 6, the Ukrainian military fired 11 artillery shells against the settlement of Alyoshki, 14 shells against Krynki, 7 shells against Sagy, 7 shells against Peschanovka, 12 shells against Kazachyi Lageri, 8 shells against Korsunka, 9 shells against Dnepryany and 6 shells against Podstepnoye, the spokesman said.
Over the past night, Ukrainian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Dnepryany, Kakhovka, Korsunka, Novaya Kakhovka and Podstepnoye, firing a total of 30 artillery rounds, he said.
