MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. The United States is trying to meddle in Russia's internal affairs, as exemplified by the events in the Dagestani city of Makhachkala, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said on Channel One television.

"What the Americans are doing now - trying to interfere in our internal problems - is very dangerous. One example is Makhachkala. There are many other examples," the ambassador said.
