Russia could initiate international tribunal against Poland — Medvedev
The politician said that "present-day Poland uses the principles of selective memory without shame"
MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Russia has every right to initiate an international tribunal for crimes committed by Poland, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said in an article published by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
He said that "present-day Poland uses the principles of selective memory without shame."
"This means that our country has every right to ask international bodies to investigate the Polish government," Medvedev said.
Russia could "even convene a tribunal ad hoc, which would establish the corpus delicti of the former Polish regimes, which can be supplemented with evidence. The result of its work could be the condemnation of their atrocities and the payment of compensations to the relatives of the victims," he went on to say.
