Russia’s PM expresses condolences over Li Keqiang's death

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has sent condolences to Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang on the death of his predecessor Li Keqiang.
"Dear Mr. Li Qiang, please accept our deepest condolences on the death of former Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang," the telegram said.
The Russian prime minister pointed to Li Keqiang's "great personal contribution to the strengthening of Russian-Chinese relations." "For many years, Li Keqiang, who headed the mechanism of regular meetings of the heads of government of Russia and China, has contributed to the implementation of important joint projects in trade and economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres," Mishustin emphasized.
He pointed out that the former Chinese State Council Premier "will always be remembered in Russia as a great friend of the country". "I ask you, dear Mr. Li Qiang, to convey words of sympathy and support to the family and friends of Li Keqiang," the Russian prime minister concluded.
