Russian forces repel several attacks near Kopani, Zaporozhye Region — official
Vladimir Rogov added that the Russian military continue to advance on Ukrainian positions in forest belts of the Zaporozhye Region north of Priyutnoye
MELITOPOL, October 27. /TASS/. Russian forces repelled several Ukrainian attacks near the settlement of Kopani, Zaporozhye Region, says Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the "We are Together with Russia" movement.
"In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian force attempted several attacks near the settlement of Kopani, but they were repelled. Bad weather and rain play in our favor. They prevent drone operation and correction of enemy artillery strikes," Rogov told TASS.
The official added that Russian forces continue to advance on Ukrainian positions in forest belts of the Zaporozhye Region north of Priyutnoye.
"Assault troops act skillfully and push the enemy back," Rogov noted.
On October 21, Spokesman of Battlegroup ‘East’ Oleg Chekhov said that Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian attack near Priyutnoye and thwarted four attempts at rotation of Ukrainian forces on the southern Donetsk direction. Later, Rovov reported several successful attacks of Russian forces and their progress near Priyutnoye. In particular, on October 25, he reported that Russia forces advanced 100 meters near this settlement.
