MELITOPOL, October 24. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces made a number of failed attempts to attack Russian positions near Rabotino - in particular, towards settlements of Kopani and Novoprokopovka - says Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the "We are Together with Russia" movement.

"The number of Ukrainian attacks towards settlements of Kopani and Novoprokopovka has increased." Rogov told TASS. "Our boys stay put, the enemy achieved no success."

He underscored that the contact line at this swatch did not move.

Rogov added that artillery duels and drone operations take place on the Vasilyevka direction.

"There has been no close contact," Rogov specified.

The Ukrainian army has been making futile offensive attempts since June 4. On October 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kiev has lost over 90,000 personnel and over 550 tanks in four months. On October 15, Putin said that the Ukrainian counteroffensive failed completely, even though Kiev prepares new active offensive operation on certain swaths of the frontline.
